What Are The Ten Commandments?

The Ten Commandments are...

The most important document in all of history!

So important that GOD wrote them with HIS own hand!

“And He gave to Moses... two tables of testimony, two tables of stone, written with the finger of God."

–Exodus 31:18

"And Moses...went down the mountain, and the two tables... were in his hand: the tables were written on both sides... and the tables were the work of God, graven on the tables."

Exodus 32:15-16

The Ten Commandments are the foundation of all successful child rearing "...and thou shalt teach them diligently unto the children."

What are the differences between the Ten Commandments in the Cathechism and the Ten Commandments in the Bible?

The 2nd commandment in the Roman Catholic Bible has been taken out, removed, by the Catholic Church!

To fill the gap, the 9th commandment in the Bible, has been duplicated (see details above).

The 10 commandment in the Cathechism is an invention of the Roman Catholic Church; a duplicate of the 9th commandment to try to cover up the cheating.

–Council of Trent, Part I, Chapter VI, Paragraphs 3, 6.

The Bible says...

"Praise all of you the Lord. blessed is the man that fears the Lord, that delights greatly in His commandments."

Psalm 112:1

"Teach them (my commandments) to your children. Write them on the door posts of your house, and on your gates."

God, Deuteronomy 11:13-20

"Blessed are they that do (keep) His Commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter into the Holy City,"

Revelation 22:14

Do you believe...

...that you could enjoy God's commandments if you don't know them?

...that you can pay attention to God's commandments if you can't tell what they are?

...that you can obey God's commandments if you don't know them?

If Salvation is by Grace, should the Ten Commandments still be kept?

The Bible says...

"Obey my commandments... so if you faithfully obey the commandments I am giving you today, to love the Lord your God ad to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul...

"...teach your children that they meditate on them...

"...that your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children...

"For if you keep the commandments which I command you, and do them, lo tole the Lord your God, and walk in all his ways, cleaving unto him.

"The Lod will destroy all (you enemies)...

"None shall stand against you...

"Behold I set forth in you sight this day a blessing and a curse,

"a blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day,

"a curse, if you obey not the commandments of the Lord your God..."

Deuteronomy 11:13-28
